Baptism!

Baptism is Required!

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (KJV)

Unless a person is Baptized and Spiritually Born again (Two separate things) he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God!

Baptism brings a remission of your sins because of obedience to God's command,

and obedience of God's commands leads to Salvation!

Baptism doth also now save us!

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved!

1 Peter 3:20-21 20 wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: (KJV)

When God makes the individual aware that Baptism is necessary, then their Salvation may be based on obedience to God's instructions to be Baptized (By immersion).

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (KJV)

Belief and Baptism are BOTH required for Salvation!  If either one is lacking then there is NO salvation!

Acts 22:16 16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (KJV)

Obedience to Baptism, brings forgiveness of your sins!

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (KJV)

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. (KJV)

The failure to be baptized would mean that your sins are not forgiven.  If your sins are not forgiven, then that person will not go to Heaven!!!!
